Shane Vincent
Web Developer / Drupal Theme Ninja
As a web developer, Shane’s duties include theming and Drupal configuration. Theming refers to the conversion of design elements to the appropriate code, and Drupal configuration involves handling the administrative interface of the content management system. Shane also implements interactive design elements, such as drop down menus, slide shows, and image pop ups.
Described by coworkers as “quick”, “meticulous”, and “resourceful”, Shane is amazing at fully cross compatible themes without the need for browser specific style sheets and hacks. In layman’s terms, the precision and care he takes with his code means that it works perfectly the first time. In fact, he describes himself as passionate about writing clean and compliant code.
Shane aced the web developer certificate program offered by our sister school, the Victoria School of Business and Technology, and as a result of his awesomeness, now works alongside his former teachers!
Always one to step up and offer help, Shane likes the team-oriented vibe at northStudio, and he especially enjoys our extracurricular activities, such as staff parties tubing down the river and other outings. On the weekend, you can find Shane out floating on the lake. He also loves sports, working on cars, and setting up electronic systems (e.g. home theatres).
“I like working with Shane V because I can always look over and know that I'm the better looking Shane. ;)” –Shane Graham
