northStudio Welcomes Its' Newest Copywriting Talent

northStudio warmly welcomes Katie Paterson, our newest staff copywriter! Born in London, Ontario, Katie joins the northStudio team well decorated, having achieved a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Victoria, and an undergraduate degree from Western Ontario. Her years as a teaching assistant at the University of Ottawa made her long for milder climes and prompted her relocation from Ontario to balmy, temperate Victoria, BC.

During her years working in academia, Katie has enjoyed having her academic papers published in renowned literary journals. Katie's professional life switched gears, leaving academia behind for the gritty pace of the corporate world, cutting her teeth as an editor in Victoria, BC.

Katie brings with her, several years of experience writing specifically for the web, creating original copy content, news articles and blog posts. In addition to writing for northStudio, Katie is currently working on her own writing projects on the side, mostly poetry and creative non-fiction, with the goal of having her work published.
