Drupal displays vocabularies as Single or Multiple Select boxes. This module takes the configuration of a vocabulary and displays it as either a nested list of checkboxes or radio button.
You end up with a much more user friendly interface as multiple select boxes can be very difficult to use. When terms in a vocabulary are parented it nests them in collapsed fieldsets so that you can drill down to find the terms you want.
