Headz Mail Order Cannabis was a trend setter in its industry and North Studio had the opportunity to bring this new e-commerce experience to life! Headz delivers to every city and province in Canada and their memberships have not stop growing since launch.

The Project

The challenge

Headz.ca Mail Order Sacrament Canada is focused on delivering the highest quality Sacrament – Ganja (marijuana) products to customers across Canada.

Company stakeholders asked us to analyze their existing WordPress website and make a series of improvements. Post analysis, it was determined that Headz.ca would benefit from a website redesign (based on their existing brand). The redesign included more effective landing pages for each section of the website that were designed to grab visitors’ attention and appeal to their target market. As well as, a suite of fully integrated WordPress plugins that would provide affiliate marketing and cross-sell its products, maximizing their sales.

Installed a fresh instance of WordPress to make optimal use of the theme, which was already installed on the previous website
Cleaned up left over custom code and sorted the code into a plugin and a child theme following WordPress best practices
Enhanced member’s dashboard and improved overall UI experience for members
Improved the eCommerce workflow by including a Government ID uploading feature
Created and integrated an affiliate system program and analytics system

The Outcome

North Studio, through mutual collaboration with the project sponsors built a customized fully functioning store within a professional website, alongside an affiliates system and integrated blog. All of these dimensions of a business’ online presence are harnessed in one place, and presented together seamlessly.

The end-result was a bespoke and feature-rich add-ons integrated website with an excellent user experience and appealing aesthetics. The traffic on the website also increased significantly within a week due to the marketing efforts set forth by Stikky Media.
