Grapevine needed help maintaining an old website to serve growing needs. As the publishing arm of Alcoholics Anonymous, Grapevine hosts tens of thousands of archived articles, promotes membership, and fosters community across the world. Working on an outdated Drupal 6 platform, Grapevine needed expert help to keep everything running smoothly—and North Studio did just that.
What We Did
With two decades of Drupal development under our belts, North Studio had the tools and expertise to work with Grapevine’s Drupal 6 framework. Our experts custom-coded modules to keep up with the demands of the modern web, and guided a massive modernization of Grapevine’s digital archives, building a faceted search app with custom sorting and display for nearly 60,000 articles.
Most importantly, North Studio helped Grapevine build a vision for the website’s future. Over years of working side-by-side with Grapevine’s web team, we helped them figure out what is important, what will work for the whole organization, and what we recommended needed to change. Today, we are planning a complete overhaul of Grapevine’s site into Drupal 8, to meet the demands of the future.
